Privacy policy
The short version
You can read every notification on this site without an account, and we do not track you while you do. An account exists only so that alerts can follow you between your phone, your laptop and your inbox.
What we collect, and only when you sign in
- Your email address and name, from Google, when you choose to sign in. We ask Google for nothing else - no contacts, no calendar, no files.
- The categories and organisations you follow, so we know what to send you.
- Which channels you turned on - this device, email, Telegram - and, if you enabled alerts on a device, the browser push subscription that device issued. A push subscription is a token addressed to your browser vendor; it is not readable as an identity and is useless to anyone else.
- Where you had read up to in the notification bell, so the same items are not marked new on a second device.
If you use the Telegram bot instead, we hold the chat id Telegram assigns and the topics you subscribed to. Nothing else.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no advertising or analytics trackers on any page.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your address with anybody.
- No profiling. We match what you follow against what was published; we do not build a picture of you from it.
- No payment details, because nothing here is paid for.
Who else sees it
Three services, each doing one job and receiving only what that job needs:
- Google verifies who you are when you sign in.
- Resend delivers the emails, so it receives your address and the alert itself.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the account record described above.
Your browser vendor - Google, Mozilla or Apple - carries push notifications to your device, as it does for every site that sends them.
How long we keep it
Your account record lives until you delete it. Delete it and it is gone from our store, along with the devices registered to it; we keep no shadow copy. Published notifications stay on the site, but those are public government notices and contain nothing about you.
Deleting your account
Open the account menu in the header and choose Delete my account. It removes your record, your follows and your registered devices immediately, and takes no confirmation email or support request. If you would rather ask, write to prateek.mehtait@gmail.com.
Children
This site is about recruitment to government posts, which applicants apply to as adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly hold a child's information.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something not listed here.
